2012 Fishdotcom Weekend Away
Whats happening?
On the 2nd of March, Fishdotcom are going on a retreat weekend away to the Peak Centre in Edale. We will be meeting at the Soulroots office at 5:00 pm on the 2nd of March, ready to depart at 5:30pm. We will arrive back at the Soulroots office at 5:00pm on the 4th of March.
There will be plenty going on while we're there, from prayer & worship to group games, crafts, sports and some highly competeive monopoly action.
The full cost of the weekend, including food and travel, is £40.
Booking forms are available from Andy. I can also email/post them out to anyone who needs them. We need forms back by the 26th of February at the latest, and we have a maximum of 20 spaces. It's first come first serve so you might want to get booked on quick!

What you'll need to bring:
- Suitable clothes (that you don’t mind getting wet/dirty)
- Trainers
- Suitable walking shoes
- A torch
- Bible, pen, notepad.
- Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Towel, etc.
Rules:
(by attending the weekend away, you are agreeing to follow these rules)
- No alcohol.
- No drugs.
- Boys do not enter girls rooms, girls to not enter boys rooms (theres a lounge area where you're welcome to hang out together!)
- Do not leave the site unless accompanied by leaders.
- You must attend all organized activities (unless given permission to do otherwise)
As a general rule, you will be away representing Soulroots Youth Community, so we expect you to act in a way that reflects well on the group. This includes treating the site and others with respect, keeping the area we are staying tidy, and not breaking anything! If we (I.E. the leaders) feel you have not respected the rules then we will ask for you to be picked up and taken home immediately.
Finally, this weekend is an opportunity to spend a few days in peace away from school and other worries. Therefore, we ask that you leave mobile phones/laptops etc at home, and spend some time cut off from the rest of the world. In case of special situations, Andy Stuart will have a 24-hour emergency contact phone and the site also has a phone that can be used in case of emergency.
